Reporters learned from Qingdao Metro Group yesterday that the first comprehensive joint debugging project for the southern section of Line 3, namely the joint debugging of the integrated monitoring and power monitoring systems, has been completed. This has enabled centralized monitoring of power supply equipment by the temporary center in the southern section, allowing for automated operation of power supply equipment at all stations in the southern section within one minute. It is reported that starting this month, Qingdao Metro will carry out comprehensive joint debugging of the 12 stations in the southern section of Line 3 in three batches. It is expected that the entire comprehensive joint debugging work will be completed by the end of October.
12 stations are jointly debugged in three batches
"The debugging of subway equipment is like a spider web of interconnected threads, with dozens of systems 'working together' in a complex and intricate manner.
"The relevant person in charge of Qingdao Metro Group stated that the so-called comprehensive joint commissioning involves debugging the coordination and mode linkage between various systems, fire linkage, signal testing, and whether each signal interface meets the design specifications, in order to ensure the safety of trial operation. In order to orderly advance the comprehensive joint commissioning work without affecting the operation of the northern section, this joint commissioning project adopts a solution of setting up a temporary center on Ningxia Road. Through the center, stations, substations, and local 4-level control, the remote signaling, telemetry, remote control, and remote pulse functions of power supply equipment are realized, which comprehensively verifies the interface between the integrated monitoring system and the power monitoring system, fully improves the efficiency and safety of power outage and restoration at each station, and provides guarantees for the commissioning work.".
It is understood that the comprehensive joint commissioning of the southern section of Metro Line 3 comprises 21 projects. Starting this month, comprehensive joint commissioning will be carried out in three batches for 12 stations, with a focus on comprehensive monitoring and electromechanical joint commissioning. It is expected that the entire comprehensive joint commissioning process will be completed by the end of October.
In September, the southern section of Line 3 will enter the no-load trial operation phase, aiming to expose and address equipment malfunctions in advance, ensuring normal trial operation, and achieving full-line operation by the end of the year.
All traffic will be restored by the end of this month
The renovation project for the 12 stations in the southern section of Metro Line 3 has been in intense progress. A reporter's visit found that the main construction of the stations has been completed, while some ancillary projects are still under way. It is reported that the renovation of the southern section is divided into three sections. In terms of renovation progress, except for the four stations of Wusi Square, Dunhua Road, Cuobuling, and Qingdao, the rest of the stations have basically been completed; the electromechanical installation and decoration works of Zhongshan Park, People's Hall, Taipingjiao Park, and Ningxia Road stations have been basically completed; the finishing stages of Huiquan Square, Yan'an Third Road, and Jiangxi Road stations are underway, and they are expected to be completed by the end of August; due to the late start of construction, the renovation work of Cuobuling station will only be completed by the end of October.
In September, except for the Chupuling Station in the southern section, the other 11 stations will undergo decoration and renovation acceptance.
Regarding the issues of barrier removal and traffic restoration that are of utmost concern to citizens, Zhu Ming from the First Engineering Division of Qingdao Metro Group Construction Branch explained that traffic is expected to be fully restored by the end of July, and the greening work around the subway stations will also be completed by the end of August.
